His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has honoured Emirati student Amina Al Mansoori and Qatari student Abdullah Alberri for winning the Arab Reading Challenge.
The seventh edition of the challenge witnessed the participation of 188,000 schools from 46 countries and 24.8 million students, including 22,000 students competing in the ‘people of determination’ category.
Taking to his official social media channel, Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Amina and Abdullah for being victorious and expressed pride at watching the younger generation taking to reading in such large numbers.
"We see in them a more beautiful future for our Arab nation," he added.
