Rain enhancement forum kicks off in Abu Dhabi

The International Rain Enhancement Forum (IREF), kicked off today in Abu Dhabi.

The fourth edition of the forum serves as a global platform for scientists, experts and researchers to tackle pressing water and sustainability issues worldwide. 

ARN News spoke to Alya Al Mazroui, Director of UAE research programme for Rain Enhancement Science. 

She explained why the UAE resorts to cloud seeding and rain enhancement methods.
