UAE and Cyprus Presidents say Gaza ceasefire crucial for aid deliveries

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his counterpart from Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, have underscored the importance of all parties adhering to the Gaza ceasefire to allow for the "rapid and secure delivery of aid" to the Strip

During a phone call, the leaders emphasised the need to build on the agreement as a step towards achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace based on the two-state solution in a manner that ensures regional security and stability.

The leaders also discussed bilateral cooperation and mutually beneficial opportunities to strengthen ties, particularly in economic and development-focused sectors.
