Despite the increase in COVID-19 cases across the UAE over the past few days, hospitalisation rates continue to remain low.

Releasing the data during Tuesday's media briefing, the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) confirmed that 55 per cent of hospital beds, including those reserved for intensive care, in the country are vacant.

They added that only 3 per cent of COVID patients are being hospitalised.
