Work-from-home announced for some Umm Al Quwain employees

Remote work system has been activated for 70 per cent of Umm Al Quwain's government employees as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.

It is applicable to those staff whose nature of work does not require them to be in office.

The emirate's executive council said the move will be in place till the end of January.

It has called on employees coming to the workplace to continue to follow the safety protocols, including adequate social distancing.
