UAE welcomes Pakistan-Afghanistan ceasefire agreement

The UAE has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan, calling it a positive step towards peace and stability in the region.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the diplomatic efforts of Qatar and Turkey, which helped create the conditions for constructive dialogue between the two sides.

The UAE also reaffirmed its support for all initiatives that promote regional security and meet the aspirations of the Pakistani and Afghan people for peace, development and prosperity.
