The UAE will take part in the 'IOWAVE25' tsunami simulation exercise starting at 10:00 am on October 15 in Qidfa, Fujairah.

It involves the Ministry of Interior, the National Centre of Meteorology, and other key partners, aiming to boost disaster preparedness and public awareness.

Held in partnership with UNESCO, the drill tests readiness for natural disasters through simulated earthquake and tsunami scenarios.

The exercise involves the mobilisation of teams, vehicle movements and evacuation operations.
