The UAE weather authority has forecast rainfall and strong winds over scattered areas in the country that are expected to continue until early Wednesday.

The National Centre of Meteorology issued a yellow alert revealing a chance of convective cloud formation with winds causing blowing dust that can reach up to 45 km/hr.

Moderate to heavy rainfall conditions are expected to last until 12:20 am on Wednesday, the authority added.

The authority further added that cloud activity is expected to increase from early Tuesday morning and persist until midday Wednesday.

Light to moderate rainfall has been predominantly forecasted, with chances of heavy rain over some eastern and northern regions.

Motorists have been advised to exercise caution on the road and follow traffic rules during the rainy conditions.
