UAE: Iranian community part of nation’s diverse social fabric

WAM

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has affirmed that the UAE is home to a respected and valued Iranian community, describing it as an integral part of the country’s social fabric.

The statement highlighted that people from more than 200 nationalities live in the UAE, reflecting its long-standing commitment to coexistence, tolerance and inclusivity.

Addressing inaccurate media reports about the residency status of Iranians, the Ministry reassured residents that clear procedures are in place to protect the safety and well-being of everyone in the country.

It reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to a safe and stable society under the rule of law, and to safeguarding the rights of all residents.
