UAE and US Presidents discuss regional developments

WAM

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Donald Trump have held a phone call to discuss the latest developments in the region and their impact on peace and security.

They also looked at the implications for maritime safety and the global economy.

The two leaders addressed ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure.

They stressed that such actions violate national sovereignty and international law, and pose a direct threat to regional stability.
