Sharjah Ruler calls on residents to partake in Census project

WAM

His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has advised residents to register their data for feedback in the upcoming 'Sharjah Census 2025' project.

The project aims to collect population data to make decisions that serve residents' interests and meet their desires.

H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan assured participants that all data collected is strictly confidential, and that every person in Sharjah who submits their data is communicating with His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah through this census.

He also pointed out that anyone who refrains from submitting their data or misses the deadline has forfeited their rights.

The Sharjah ruler asked the employees handling the census to gather detailed information about specific areas, including the names of the residents, the types of homes they live in, their quality of life, and their income levels to examine the solutions needed for the conditions in Sharjah.

He highlighted that the previous census data was able to raise the minimum standard of living for families to AED17,500, adding that the government "expanded new residential areas, opened additional facilities and attractions, and created new job opportunities for many seeking employment".

The project will be launched on October 15 and will carry out until December 31.
