A hotel in Abu Dhabi was evacuated after a fire broke out on its rooftop on Saturday. The blaze at the Grand Continental Flamingo on Hamdan Street in the capital started just before 6pm. The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence controlled the incident within an hour and guests and staff were able to return to the hotel. No injuries were reported.
