Dubai allocates AED500 million to boost citizens' quality of life

The Ruler of Dubai will be allocating AED500 million to boost Emirati citizens' quality of life.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, made several announcements in a series of tweets following the latest Dubai Council meeting. 

He revealed that communities will be deciding how money will be spent in the emirate. 

Sheikh Mohammed announced that 422 citizens will be exempt from housing-related debts and all Emiratis will be absolved from mortgage fees related to house loans. 

The Vice President of the UAE also ordered the building of 12 integrated councils in all Dubai neighbourhoods to serve as meeting places for citizens and to host their social events.
