DEWA urges customers to take safety measures ahead of rainy season

WAM

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is reminding customers to take precautionary measures ahead of the rainy season to prevent any malfunctions or outages.

DEWA stresses the importance of regular maintenance and properly insulating all external electrical connections, panels and meter boxes.

It also advises securely closing electrical panels, replacing broken glass covers on meters, and inspecting earthing cables to maintain a stable power supply.

Customers can report technical emergencies on the DEWA hotline 991.
