The world's first unmanned district cooling plant has now opened in Dubai.

Empower, the Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, launched the plant in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).

The plant currently serves residents in 52 buildings in the area.

The new plan will also help monitor and adjust the water flow to and from the cooling plant via Thermal Energy Storage.
