Using fake reviews to boost online sales is illegal in UAE


Using false reviews to increase the popularity of your product or service could land you in legal trouble in the UAE.

The tactic is often employed globally to increase the rating on third party websites such as Amazon and Tripadvisor. 

However, it contravenes regulations here in the country.
