Woman rescued after falling from Jebel Hafeet mountain

A woman has been rescued after she fell from Jebel Hafeet, one of the nation's highest mountains.

The 24-year-old Emirati sustained several injuries.

A video posted on social media by the National Search and Rescue Centre shows the Abu Dhabi Police helicopter flying through the mountain range to find her.

The woman was flown to Tawam hospital in Al Ain where she received treatment.
