Weather alert issued as more rain hits UAE


The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow and orange alerts as rain and dust storms hit parts of the UAE today.

Moderate to heavy rainfall has been reported in parts of Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain.

Hailstones have also been falling in some areas.

The NCM has urged people to stay away from wadis and areas prone to flash floods.
