The UAE has unveiled a new system that allows Black Hawk helicopters to perform a variety of attack missions.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, praised the Emirati engineers behind the technology.
It enables Black Hawks to carry an integrated suite of laser-guided and anti-tank missiles in addition to more multi-purpose weapons.
His Highness said the emirates is quickly becoming a key player in developing state-of-the-art military defence systems.
