UAE sends teams to battle raging forest fires in Albania

The UAE's specialised teams have arrived at the Albanian capital of Tirana to support the country in its efforts to contain raging forest fires across several parts of the country.

It follows the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and reflects the country's solidarity in supporting Albania.

The UAE will send firefighting aircraft, equipment and materials and response operations will be carried in coordination with teams from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority.
