Engineering students from universities in the UAE have the opportunity to operate a robot currently onboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The ‘5th Cycle of the Kibo Robot Programming Challenge’ hosted by JAXA and in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre and NASA, gives students the unique opportunity to showcase their programming skills by taking control of an ‘Astrobee’ robot, currently in outer space.

Students have until May 27 to register and can apply in teams of 3-6 students.
