UAE strongly condemns bombing of mosque in Pakistan

The UAE has strongly condemned the bombing of a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar that left at least 87 people dead and several more wounded.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFA) expressed its sincere condolences to the government of Pakistan and the families of the victims.

The ministry also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The attack on Monday occurred in one of the most fortified areas of Peshawar city, which houses offices of the police and counter-terrorism departments.
