The United Arab Emirates has signed an open skies agreement with the Slovak Republic. The agreement allows passenger and cargo planes to be operated by each country between the Slovak Republic and the UAE without restrictions on frequency, capacity or types of aircraft. The agreement is expected to aid growth in many sectors including trade and tourism. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has so far signed 168 air service agreements, of which 122 are open skies.
