The UAE dispatched three aircraft this week carrying 120 tonnes of vital relief aid to support the people of Lebanon and those who fled to Syria.
Two planes have been sent to Lebanon and one to Syria, loaded with medical supplies, food, ambulances and shelter materials.
The effort is part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' relief campaign, conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
So far, the UAE has dispatched a total of 12 aid planes, delivering 515 tonnes of various relief supplies to assist the Lebanese people during these challenging times.
The 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign, which was launched earlier this month, is also actively collecting aid in partnership with donor institutions, charitable organisations, businesses and community members, until Ocotber 21.
