UAE ranked among major global soft powers

The UAE has retained 10th place in the Global Soft Power Index 2025, reflecting its growing influence on the world stage.

Its Nation Brand also saw a significant rise in value, reaching $1.223 trillion in 2025.

The index, published by Brand Finance, evaluates 193 countries based on insights from over 173,000 business leaders, policymakers and civil society figures.

The UAE ranks in the top 10 in several key categories, including 2nd in 'Ease of Doing Business', 4th in 'Future Growth Potential and Generosity', 7th in 'A Strong and Stable Economy', and 9th in 'International Relations' and 'Influence in Diplomatic Circles'.

It also ranked 10th in 'Investment in Space Exploration'.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s leadership, the UAE continues to strengthen its global presence, fostering development and stability.

This Index is the world’s most comprehensive study on perceptions of nation brands, providing an in-depth analysis of the evolving status of Soft Power as nations navigate significant global changes and challenges.

The United States and China are the most influential Soft Power nations in the world, while the UK is ranked 3rd, followed by Japan (4th), and Germany (5th).
