President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, have explored ways to strengthen bilateral ties across key sectors during talks held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

The leaders discussed ways to expand cooperation, particularly in the economic, developmental, educational, cultural and renewable energy sectors, national news agency Wam reported.

They also witnessed the formalisation of a new energy partnership between the two nations. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Admir Šahmanović, Montenegrin Minister of Energy and Mining.

The discussions also addressed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
