UAE President holds talks with UK Prime Minister Starmer in Abu Dhabi

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed regional developments with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer during his visit to the UAE.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the serious implications of military escalation on regional and international security and stability, as well as their impact on maritime security, energy supplies and the global economy.

They also discussed the recent Iranian attacks in the UAE and other countries in the region, noting that it constitutes a violation of sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter.

Starmer reiterated the UK's condemnation of the attacks and affirmed its solidarity with the UAE regarding the measures being taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty.

The two leaders also reviewed the progress of UAE–UK relations and explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation.
