UAE authorities have announced an update to the National Early Warning System, with changes to the alert sound schedule.

From 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM, the current high-tone siren will continue to signal an alert, while the standard text message tone will indicate the end of an alert.

From 10:30 PM to 9:00 AM, the standard text message tone will be used for both alerts and all-clear notifications.

Officials say the system will remain fully operational to deliver timely public safety alerts.

Authorities added that the early warning system is a key part of the national preparedness framework, and urged the public to follow any official instructions issued alongside alerts to ensure their safety.
