US President Donald Trump has been awarded the 'Order of Zayed', the UAE’s highest civilian honour.

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the award at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, recognising Trump for his role in strengthening bilateral ties.

The honour is named after the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The UAE marks the third stop on Trump’s regional tour, following earlier visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
