The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Thailand after a crane collapsed on a moving train near its capital city on Wednesday, killing more than 30 people and injuring 60 more.
According to Reuters, the accident occurred in the Sikhio district of Nakhon Ratchasima province, 230 km northeast of Bangkok, on a train from the capital bound for Ubon Ratchathani province.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has conveyed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Thailand and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
