UAE expresses solidarity with India over factory explosion

The UAE has expressed solidarity with India over a factory explosion that killed at least a dozen people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

A fire and explosion at a pharmaceutical factory in India’s southern state of Telangana killed at least 12 people and injured several others.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a social media post announced financial support of 200,000 Indian rupees (AED 8,570) each to the next of kin.
