The UAE has expressed its solidarity and offered condolences to Bosnia and Herzegovina following a fire at a retirement home that killed at least 12 people and injured 28 others.

The Consulate of the UAE in Bosnia and Herzegovina has offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victim's families, and the government and people of the two nations over this tragedy, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.

The cause of the fire, which broke out in the northern area of Bosnia in Tuzla on Tuesday, has not yet been revealed, with investigations completed on Thursday but still awaiting reports from local officials, according to Reuters.
