UAE Embassy condemns Liverpool car-ramming attack

The UAE Embassy in London has strongly condemned the car-ramming attack that injured more than 50 people in Liverpool on Monday.

The incident occurred when a car drove into a crowd of Liverpool fans during a parade celebrating the team’s Premier League title win.

In a statement, the Embassy expressed the UAE’s firm condemnation of the attack and its unwavering rejection of all forms of violence threatening public safety and stability.

The Embassy also conveyed its solidarity with the United Kingdom and its people, extending wishes for a swift recovery to all those injured.

According to British police, eleven victims remained in hospital on Tuesday in stable condition and were reported to be recovering well.

Authorities have confirmed that the incident appears to be isolated and is not being treated as an act of terrorism.
