UAE denies reports of Netanyahu visit and Israeli military delegation

WAM

The UAE has denied reports circulating online claiming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the country or that an Israeli military delegation had been received in the Emirates.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said relations between the UAE and Israel are conducted openly within the framework of the Abraham Accords.

The ministry added that any claims relating to undisclosed visits or unofficial arrangements were “entirely unfounded” unless formally announced by UAE authorities.

It also called on media organisations to exercise accuracy and professionalism, and urged outlets not to circulate unverified information or what it described as misleading political narratives.
