UAE cyber chief visits security centres during Eid

WAM

The head of cybersecurity for the UAE government has visited Abu Dhabi Police and a number of cyber operations centres on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.

The visit, carried out alongside a delegation from the UAE Cyber Security Council, included facilities across government entities, critical sectors and private sector partners.

Authorities said the tour was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity systems and coordination.

It also highlighted the round-the-clock operation of the UAE’s cyber infrastructure, with officials emphasising continued monitoring and preparedness during the holiday period.

The UAE has prioritised cybersecurity as part of its wider national strategy to protect digital systems and critical infrastructure.
