UAE warns of unstable weather conditions across the country

The UAE's Ministry of Interior has advised the public to exercise caution as unstable weather conditions affect the country on Saturday, including various levels of rain, wind, and thunder, alongside reduced visibility in some areas.

In a post on X, the ministry urged the community to reduce speed on roads, avoid water ponds and fast-moving streams, and steer clear of the sea and beaches.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) also shared a yellow and orange alert depicting the formation of convective clouds over scattered areas of the UAE.

It added that fresh to strong winds are also surrounding the country, causing blowing dust and sand that reduce horizontal visibility, with the conditions expected to run until 8:00 pm on Saturday.

The Dubai Police have also advised the public to stay alert and follow their official guidelines during unstable weather conditions.
