The UAE has continued its humanitarian mission to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, conducting its 65th airdrop of relief supplies and dispatching 21 aid trucks via designated land crossings.
The mission - carried out in coordination with Jordan and with the participation of Germany and Belgium - targeted areas inaccessible by land due to ongoing conflict and deteriorating field conditions.
Under the UAE's Birds of Goodness initiative as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the total amount of aid delivered by air has exceeded 3,800 tonnes, with deliveries through land crossing 500 tonnes.
These efforts come amid alarming warnings from international health authorities. On Thursday, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), reported that the enclave is now witnessing its highest monthly rate of acute malnutrition among children since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza with hunger-related deaths continuing to rise.
