UAE condoles Finland, Estonia over victims of helicopter collision

The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Finland and Estonia following the collision of two helicopters near Eura Airport, which resulted in five fatalities.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its sincere condolences to the governments of Finland and Estonia and to the families of the victims.

According to local police, the mid-air collision occurred near the town of Kauttua, with wreckage landing approximately 700 metres from the Ohikulkutie road.

Flight plans indicated that one helicopter carried two people and the other three.

Police added that both helicopters were registered outside Finland.
