The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the village of Dar el-Jamal in northeastern Nigeria that results in dozens of deaths and injuries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed on the UAE's continued rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism that aim to destabilise security and stability.
The ministry also expressed their sincere condolences to the victims' families and the people of Nigeria, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
According to Reuters, the Boko Haram group killed more than 60 people, including seven soldiers, in a nighttime assault last Friday on the village that people had returned to only last month following years of displacement.
