UAE condemns Kenya hotel attack

The UAE has condemned the terror attack that targeted a hotel complex in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has reiterated its rejection of all forms of violence.

''The UAE stands in solidarity with the Kenyan government and people in their fight against violence and extremism,'' it read. 

The ministry has extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

It also called on the international community to unify efforts in confronting elements that pose a threat to peace and stability.
