UAE, Bahrain coordinate 100‑tonne Gaza aid shipment

WAM

Bahrain's Royal Humanitarian Foundation has dispatched a 100-tonne urgent relief shipment to the Gaza Strip in coordination with the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 and the Emirates Red Crescent.

The aid was sent via Al-Arish Airport in Egypt in preparation for its entry through the Rafah border crossing.

The relief shipment includes a range of essential supplies, comprising hygiene kits for children and women, basic food commodities, as well as a selection of medicines and critical medical supplies.

The initiative follows the directives of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and the guidance of Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary‑General of the Foundation, reaffirmed that the Kingdom continues its longstanding work to ease the suffering of families in Gaza.

He added that delivering this assistance during Ramadan carries deep humanitarian significance and highlights the values of solidarity and compassion that define the people of Bahrain.
