UAE, Armenian leaders discuss cooperation and regional stability

The UAE has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Armenia following high‑level talks in Abu Dhabi.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at Qasr Al Shati, where discussions focused on expanding bilateral ties in support of shared ambitions for growth and prosperity.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the Armenian Prime Minister on receiving the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, in recognition of the historic peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

His Highness praised the leadership of both countries for prioritising dialogue and reaching an agreement that strengthens security and stability, not only for the two nations but across the wider Caucasus region.

The two leaders reviewed the growing relationship between the UAE and Armenia in key sectors, including renewable energy, agriculture, food security, technology and digital transformation.

They also discussed regional and international developments, with the UAE reiterating its support for stability, security and development across the Caucasus.

Pashinyan expressed his appreciation for Sheikh Mohamed’s initiatives, describing them as a reflection of the UAE’s enduring commitment to peace, dialogue and global stability.
