All public schools in the UAE, as well as private schools in Abu Dhabi, will return to in-person learning in a phased and gradual manner from February 14.

In a series of posts on Twitter, the UAE Ministry of Education said the plan is being implemented after a thorough study of the health situation, and is based on the recommendations of the competent authorities, while taking into account the suggestions from the parent community.

All safety measures will continue to be reviewed and updated till the end of the school term.

The option of remote learning will continue to remain available until the end of the current school year.

Abu Dhabi's Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee said it has approved a "preventive protocol" for all schools to ensure public health and safety.
