Residents will no longer be able to hire domestic helpers from Tadbeer services on an hourly or daily basis.

That's after the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) suspended short-term services as part of efforts to limit the spread of coronavirus.

In a statement on their official social media platform, the authority elaborated that domestic workers can be hired for a period of seven days per family.

During this time, the workers cannot be replaced or transferred.
