UAE announces AED 36.7 billion investment fund

The UAE Cabinet has approved the establishment of a national investment fund with an initial capital of AED 36.7 billion, subject to future review and increase.

Its goal is to encourage foreign investment through targeted incentive packages.

The fund was announced during a cabinet meeting held at the Dubai Airshow on Wednesday, which was chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
