Tremors felt in UAE following Iran earthquake

Slight tremors were felt in the UAE after a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran on Wednesday evening.

The National Centre of Meteorology said the earthquake was reported at 07:17 pm UAE time.

It added that the impact of the quake was slightly felt in the northern parts of the UAE, without any adverse effects.

Some UAE residents, who felt the tremor, took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
