Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed a series of traffic improvements in the Nad Al Sheba area, designed to boost road efficiency and ease congestion.

The upgrades include a new entry and exit point for vehicles coming from Meydan Street, as well as the conversion of an intersection on Latifa bint Hamdan Street into a roundabout.

These projects are part of the RTA's broader efforts to enhance Dubai’s infrastructure to accommodate the city's urban growth.

Abdulla Ali Lootah, Director of Roads and Facilities Maintenance Management at the RTA's Traffic and Roads Agency, said that the additional entry and exit point will cut travel time for vehicles coming from Meydan Street to Nad Al Sheba Street by up to 60%.

He added that the roundabout on Latifa bint Hamdan Street will help reduce congestion and delays by as much as 50% during peak hours, while improving overall traffic safety.
