Three Emiratis killed in horrific Emirates Road crash

Three Emirati men have died and a fourth person was injured after their SUV crashed into an iron barrier on Emirates Road in Sharjah on Saturday.

In a statement on social media, Sharjah Police said the incident occurred shortly after 7:00 am, near the Al Zubair tunnel towards Bridge No 7.

Following an investigation, the authority said the driver of the SUV was speeding, and swerved suddenly before crashing into the iron barrier separating the two streets.

Three people died due to the impact of the collision.

Sharjah Police extended condolences to the families of the victims and urged all motorists to obey traffic rules.
