Syrian children to receive nutritional supplements in new UAE initiative

The UAE embassy in Beirut has launched a campaign to provide nutritional supplements for Syrian children. According to national news agency WAM, the initiative aims to distribute the aid to 7,000 youngsters in the Akkar district, who have been displaced by the conflict in Syria. The UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, said the UAE will continue to provide humanitarian support to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.
