Sultan Al Jaber hands over UAE President's 'message' to German Chancellor

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, has delivered UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's "written message" for German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Dr. Al Jaber, who also holds the position of the UAE Special Envoy to Germany, is in Berlin on an official visit. 

The document was handed over during his meeting with Thorsten Frei, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Minister of State for Special Tasks.

According to national news agency Wam, the message focuses on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

The two sides looked at expanding areas of cooperation within the framework of their strategic partnership.

Dr. Al Jaber affirmed the UAE leadership’s commitment to advancing cooperation with Germany, building on more than five decades of relations. It looks at exploring high-impact opportunities for collaboration across key sectors, including economy, trade, energy, renewable energy, advanced industry and technology, and strategic investments.
